WHAT MAKES INTREPID STRENGTH & CONDITIONING DIFFERENT?

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

Intrepid Strength and Conditioning is more than a gym—it’s a place where people come to change their lives.

When you walk through our doors, you’re stepping into an environment built on accountability, structure, and real coaching. Health, strength, and resilience aren’t just goals here—they’re the standard.

We offer 24/7 access and a coaching staff with decades of combined experience, including national-level coaching and real-world application. Our coaches aren’t just here to run you through a workout—they’re here to guide you, push you, and help you become someone stronger than you thought possible.

Our classes follow a proven structure: strength first, then targeted accessories, followed by short, intense conditioning. It’s simple, it’s effective, and it works. Whether your goal is to build muscle, lose body fat, improve performance, or just feel better in your own skin—we give you a clear path to get there.

Most people start with personal training so we can understand exactly where they’re at and what they need. From there, they transition into our class-based training, where coaching, community, and consistency drive long-term results.

We also take pride in building the next generation. Our youth programs focus on proper technique, discipline, and confidence—teaching kids how to train the right way while developing strength that carries over into sports and life.

At Intrepid, we’re not chasing trends. We’re focused on what works: getting people stronger, leaner, and more capable.

Our mission is simple—help you win your next doctor’s appointment, perform better in life, and build a body that can handle whatever comes your way.

This is more than fitness.
This is about becoming harder to kill—physically and mentally.

And when you join Intrepid, you’re not doing it alone.
You’re stepping into a community that trains together, pushes each other, and shows up day after day to get better.

Owner Ryan Hansen

I’ve been coaching and building strong humans since 2010. I started lifting in 2011, did my first competition in 2012, and never really looked back. Along the way I’ve had the chance to represent Team USA in Barbados, mess around with bobsled, and in 2025 I became a United Masters Weightlifting World Champion.

I’m a USA Weightlifting National Coach and a former CrossFit Level 3. I’ve worked with everyone from complete beginners to national-level athletes, and the goal is always the same—get stronger, move better, and build something that actually lasts. I’m big on keeping things simple. This is a simple sport… but it’s not easy. Do the basics, do them well, and do them for a long time.

Before all this, I was a Marine, a federal corrections officer, and a police officer in the Village of Greenwood Lake. That background shapes how I coach—show up, be accountable, and put the work in whether you feel like it or not.

But the most important thing I’ve done isn’t on a platform or in a gym—it’s being Lane’s dad. That’s what drives everything for me.

If you’re ready to train with purpose and actually push yourself, I’m here for it.
